Software Development – Code Generation

Under contract to Boeing Company, Architecture Technology Corporation is developing CodeGen, a code generation tool for the System of Systems Common Operating Environment (SOSCOE)—the middleware for the Future Combat System. CodeGen provides software developers with a common interface to a variety of operating systems, languages, and communication paradigms. It translates input described in one of two OMB standards—the Unified Modeling Language and the Interface Definition Language—into C, C++, or Java source code supporting a chosen paradigm.
